These are made very cheap, hard plastic, the joints don’t move much and they are lightweight. It just feels cheap…because it is cheap, 8 bucks! You can’t beat that, I gave this to my nephew for his 4th birthday and he didn’t care how cheap it felt. He saw how big it was and lost his mind, a 12″ action figure to a little kid is the cream of the crop. He was playing with the figures I gave him more than any of the more expensive super detailed figures he received from other people. Win.

My son (and me, too) own quite a few of the standard Hasbro Titan Series figures. They are enjoyable figures that are big (twelve inches tall) and usually include one accessory if any at all. Articulation is limited to five points, which means poses are limited as well, but the things are just so darn big and cool that you can’t help but enjoy them.

The Titan Hero Tech versions of these figures are very similar to the traditional Titan Series figures except that they talk and (at least in the case of the Avengers Age of Ultron figure series) can interact with the Hulkbuster Titan Hero Tech figure as well. I also find that the Titan Hero Tech figures have much better paint jobs on them.

This particular figure features Captain America in his uniform from the AOU film (one of my favorite suits, by the way, second only to his suit in the first Captain America film) and he features twelve phrases and includes his shield which can be attached to either shoulder or his back and held in his right hand.

I really hope that I can get my hands on the Hulkbuster and at least one or two more of the AOU Titan Hero Tech figures to see how well they interact with the Hulkbuster.

These figures cost anywhere from a few dollars to double the price of a standard Titan Hero (depending on where you purchase it) and if you’re happy paying around seven to twelve bucks for the standard figures, you probably won’t have a problem shelling out a bit more for these talkers.

Recommended to fans of the Age of Ultron film, Avengers fans, and anybody that like the Titan series of figures.

This is a nice substantial action figure. It looks like Chris Evans. The voice – there are quite a few Ra Ra sort of statements Cap can make – does NOT sound at all like Chris Evans (guess they couldn’t get him to do the recordings).

The articulation of the arms, legs and head are a bit stiff at first, which is good, because repeated use by kids is going to get them loosened up and there’s no need to have Captain America pull a Linda Blair and spin his head around and around.

You press a little button on Cap’s chest to get the figure to speak OR there is a light diode also on the chest that will automatically interact with the Hulk Buster action figure (not sold with this figure).

You don’t need the Hulk Buster – and I don’t have it, so I can’t tell you how well that interaction works – to get Cap to speak.

This seems to be a sturdy, well modeled action figure that should provide a bit of fun for you child or the child in you.

Okay let me just say my INTENT was to get this Captain America for my nephew once I reviewed it. Now though that I have had a chance to play with it and see all the great features we have a little bit of a problem. I want it!

This is a great product, not just because it is bigger than I expected (as you can see from my photo it is 12 inches tall), but because of the various audible messages that it is able to say. The arms move so you can attach Captain America’s shield to him, and then he is ready for battle!

Love the detail on the figure and the fact that it is a great standalone as well for display.

I love my nephew, but we might just have to share this one. If I am having this dilemma than I am sure other dads and uncles will find themselves facing the same problem. Great product!
