I can not remember the last time I fell in love with an action figure like this. Wait… maybe as a nine-year-old getting Jetfire (from Transformers G1) for xmas.
    =)
The attention to detail, plus the detail itself is out of this world. The awesome articulation is pretty reminiscent of “revoltech” ratchet-style that holds things in place rather well. The multiple types of hands and “action swing” lightsaber help give you plenty of options for posing this bad-boy.
When I first saw this figure late last year, I was impressed, but the price-tag made me nix it. However, after watching a video review recently, made me think twice. The price tag is still somewhat steep… however, the way I got it (ahem, used…) made it a little more affordable . It’s like “sticker-shock” without the buyer’s remorse. Worth every penny? He is so impressive to hold in your hands… to display… I found it hard to stop thinking about it. It’s like falling in love. With a figure? Yes.
The shelf presence is through the roof… on a scale from 1-10, he’s like a 15.
By the way, I am a devoted Boba Fett fan. Originally, I was solely looking forward to the Boba Fett version of the Play Arts Kai Variant. But now that I got this guy, I don’t know if I’m as excited about that Boba figure anymore. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt the Boba version can top this one. That is how great this figure is. In fact, words may fail do describe how insanely cool the figure is. The only way to really understand is to hold it in your hands. Even pictures do it no justice. If I could, I would give it 7 stars. I know, it sounds too good to be true. Maybe there is some Jedi mind-trick that has worked on me all too well.
All I know is that I will never get bored trying to find a new pose for this figure, and I will never get over how it blows away all other Darth Vader figures I have. Not to mention all other figures that I thought were “cool” are totally left in the dust.
In closing, if my wife would let me – I would display him in the china closet. Seriously. XD

The guy looks awesome. Now this is coming from someone who likes Starwars but doesn’t love it. He doesn’t look like the movie version hence Variant. He looks a little more battle ready and aggressive for sure which is why I prefer this. The light saber gets a bit light towards the tip so the paint there i think could have been better. As for vader the paint looks great. Also the force/plasma hand looks awesome and is a cool semi transparent purple/pink. As for poseing its super easy and will go just about anyway you can think of. Balances on his own without the stand which again, i prefer. Great purchase and am happy to add him to collection.

I received heavely damaged toy box on all sides, especially on bottom, even though the packaging box was undamaged,.
    Lots of joints very weak.
Left feet, both legs in hips are very loosen .. he cant stand straight. That might be because of the extra damage on bottom of the box. Crippled Darth Vader .. probably from his younger age when Obi-Wan cut his legs off 🙁
Right arm also loosen, cannot hold the sword straight, its dropping down.
There are small differences in colors, doesnt actually fits the displayed images. Petty issue though compared to the damage.
But he is the real deal :/
