This was a purchase my 12 year-old wanted and he said it got a five star rating. When asked for any comments he said, “the caps the come on top of the soldiers, they come off, so be careful not to lose them.”

Nicely detailed and articulated modern set with a good selection of weapons. These figures don’t have bases, which isn’t so good if you intend to display them out of package. They’re scaled a little smaller than some other manufacturer’s 1 18 figures from a few years ago. It’s great to find something in 1 18 military again!

The most realistic and accurate details I’ve ever seen. Complete with interchangeable weapons, these Marines provide hours of fun and enjoyment for kids that like action figures, but not wrestlers or superheros. These men really do stand on their own two feet, and hold their weapons. Their fingers and hands hold the weapons well, without fear that manipulating the positions will break any pieces off of either. The bendability in their legs leaves much to be desired, and I think that we may have issues with limbs popping out and not being able to be fixed, in the future. The detailing not only on the figures themselves but also on their accessories, like their guns are accurate and very well crafted. Their covers do come off, so you do have to be careful not to lose them, they are fairly small.
    UPDATE
Ends up by end of day limbs were popped out and not able to be salvaged as were the coves…very disappointed
