Not bad, not great, depending on price, November 23, 2014

I ordered this for my 18 month old after he saw another child with it at the playground and loved it. He quickly lost interest in it, but hey … that’s toddlers, so I can’t fault the toy for that. Here are my thoughts:

    PROS:
    • Large size with no choking hazards
    • Very durable plastic suitable for a rough and tumble child
    • Well worth the $9.97 I paid at my time of purchase

    CONS:
    • The only articulation is at the hips, shoulders and head. While I was aware of that when purchasing, the movement is very stiff
    • Definitely not worth the current inflated price of $18.99 at the time of this review
    • Older children or action figure aficionados would likely be disappointed/bored with the simplicity of this figure

Product is definitely as described with no disappointments or surprises. I would recommend, as long as the price is right.

The amazing pale Iron Man!, July 10, 2014

This was a gift that the person loved but as for me, it was a bit different. Everything was as described but it was not the radiant red and gold that looks like other IronMans out there. It was paler than described. And the “light” on his chest is just a sticker 🙁 I thought it was going to be at least close to legit but oh well. I give it 4.3 stars.

Good but not Great, December 8, 2014

A reasonably good action figure for a reasonable price.
A good size, colorful and well-made.
I thought that it was lame because the elbows and knees
are not jointed which leaves a lot to be desired
when attempting to pose the figure.
That’s a deal breaker for me, but I’m a grown up (in theory).
Let’s find out what the little one’s think.
A family with a 5 year old boy were visiting a short time ago
and now I am certain that I will never see my iron man figure
    again in this life.
Apparently, it gets the little boy seal of approval.
For a toy, that it the highest of honors.

Must have for all Avengers and Iron Man fans, April 4, 2015

I think the mark 43 is very cool. To me, this is how the the mark 42 should have always been from the start. The paint apps are much better than the mark 42. It is the same mold so it still has the great articulation. If your an iron man fan or an avengers fan then definitely get this figure. It includes the tony stark head with the face plate lifted up, and the left leg to Thanos. This figure is also very movie accurate from what I’ve seen from the trailer. After I watched the movie on May 3rd I added a little battle damage to the figure to make it look more dirty. You can check out the photos I took.

Iron Man Mark 43 (Mark 42 repaint), April 13, 2015

This review is from: Marvel Legends Infinite Series Iron Man Mark 43 6-Inch Figure (Toy)
This is Iron Man’s Mark 43 armor, and is actually a repaint of the Marvel Legends Iron Man 3 Mark 42 figure. That is accurate as this armor appears to be the same design in Age of Ultron, with a new paint scheme.

If you have the Mark 42 version, this is the same sculpt. But the new paint this time around is very nice. It features more red, while the previous one featured more gold. The shoulder pads and wrist pads are made of a rubbery plastic which allows his arms and hands to move up and down. It stands at approx. 6 1/2″ tall.

Accessories: This time he comes with a new interchangeable open-faceplate head, and the build-a-figure left leg for Thanos. The extra head is a great accessory to give you more display options.

Articulation: Ball-hinged head, shoulders, and wrists; Ball-jointed torso; Swivel biceps and thighs; Double-hinged elbows and knees; Hips hinge sidewards, forwards, and backwards; Ankles hinge and rock. Good range of motion in the joints to allow for many poses.

I would definitely recommend this figure, especially if you want to collect the Avengers team. Good paint color scheme, articulation, and the extra unmasked head. Goes well with the other movie figures.

This may be a repaint of the Mark 42 Iron Man figure, but I don’t care. Mainly because I’ve never owned an Iron Man figure, but I like the Mark 43 Iron Man suit a lot better since it has more red than gold on it. If you’re a fan of Iron Man or Marvel superheroes in general, and never owned an Iron Man figure, I say go for it. But if you own the Mark 42 Iron Man 3 figure, I say just repaint yours for free or at low cost to make yours look like the Mark 43 suit.
