Restaurant City Tips and Trick for beginner
1. If you still confused what is restaurant City, you can read Restaurant city by playfish at facebook tutorial
2. Focus to rise ONLY 1 of your dishes at level 10 in each three categories (Starter, Main, Desert). You can read more detailed tutorial at How to get culinary award fast in restaurant city playfish facebook game or you can buy ingredients at Restaurant city fresh ingredients store
3. Make sure you KNOW items that you will trade to others. Every items has their own rarity. 1-5 star mostly show their rarity. One star is the rarest items and star 5 is not.
Every star has THE MOST rare items.
For example, Start 1 rare items are: ONION, SALAD, FLOUR,TOMATO and POTATO.
Level 2 are : Cream, Rice, cheese and Egg.
Level 3 are : Prawn.
Be careful to trade them. If you want to know complete ingredient list at restaurant city you can download it there.
4. Think EFFECTIVE when you design your restaurant layout. This is basic rules of creating Restaurant City Layout :
a. Try to create your waiters not walk to much. Circle table is the best for me. This is my friends table example.
b. Put queue before they able to reach your table. It will make your customer take time before they sit on table or complain they do not get chair. The rating will increased rapidly. But don’t make too long maze. This is my friends table example. But this only effective for level below 17. After that I suggest not put queue/maze ^^
This is my current layout (5 Dec 09) without Maze and use 2 waiters
c. Toilets only need 4-5. But if you don’t want to have it its ok too. One cleaner will needed for this. I like to use cleaner than ask her as cooker. My experiments still fine with it. But it depend on your favorite. Since I dont want loose popularity because toilets complain
d. Stove price doesn’t resemble the cook speed. It only for decoration. Safe your money before you buy different stove.
5. Take care your Worker Health. Lower energy=slower works
6. If you want to increased level fast, always open your RC windows but minimize it. It will affect your browsing /download speed.
7. If you only need money, close your RC application while your restaurant still open. Check it every 45 minutes. The power will be around 75% and earn money less than 2000. That’s perfect time to give ‘water’ to your worker and close the application again. You will not loose money because of that and you PC will not work to hard

everyone thinks that putting a queue or a maze to get to the table is the best way to increase popularity. that’s just a myth. the best way to improve popularity is to put the dining tables as close to the door as possible, with waiters walking no less than 2 blocks in their work, and put WAITING chairs far from the door but near the dining table.
I think maze still good way for popularity. I already try it without maze.. and a lot of ppl complain they come but they dont have seat even I already put waiting chair. They dropped the popularity ^^
but when you put a maze.. they will not complain even they must walk a long long way to go to the table. so at least your popularity will not go down ^^
that’s my opinion ^^ every body have different opinion ^^ and with maze.. when my worker at 75%.. the popularity still above 46 ^^
i dont have a maze on my resto but even if i reach 75% i still have 49.2 on my popularity.
@lalik : Indeed. I also not use maze. but people who has less room (Bellow lv 17) and dont use island table) need maze
Believe it or not, if you put too long a maze, you actually sell less plates.
And if you put a short maze you end up selling the same as normal.

i always facing customer complaining don have seat, with yr advice, i can re design my interior already.
If you make a cirle and your waiters dont go in the right places, just swap round stoves, sounds stupid i know but it works
and dont waste valuble cooking staff on cleaners, when the toilets get messy just pick them up into your inventry and place them back down again and they will be clean!
and also you dont really need toilets, i mean, im level 19 and ive got a maze entry so it keeps the customers occupied and ive got waiting seats too, so my rating is 50.0 even with messy toilets
and dont by arcade machines! biggest regret ever or what

when i was LV 18, my resto population already at 50.0
but when i try to make maze, it drop below 47!!

hey, im noob like lvl 4 (almost 5) and ive been thinking of an arrangement. i keep wasting money on stuff i regret like clothes and stuff. my setup is like this:

Well mazing isnt actually needed,if you dont want to lose your popularity you just go into redecorating mode, and leave there, you can also see how much money u made while you were gone
duwh bingung ni mao ngedekor yng seperti apa yh biar terlihat bagus dan rapi?? habisnya selalu masih naek level si,jadi masih berubah-ubah dekorny dan bingung ^^ hahha
dekor mah yg penting effektif. hiasannya ntar2 aja kalau dah tajir dan lv tinggi. ^^
mazing is a waste of time.It is the arrangement that matters. my popularity is at 50 even when the workers’ energy is 50%(witout maze).
Setting the tables a good distance away from the doors in a rectangular arrangement with cooks and waiters inside that works best for me. It’s all about making it easier for the staff to serve and harder for the customers to walk out quickly. Help , there was a lot that its have a sign board said for sell . I bought it for 5000 Gold . After i get the lot , i cant close my store because of the lot i just bought . The lot does not had wall . The costumers cant go in have the chair sign above their head , because of that my rating keep falling . I’m not expand my Restaurant yet. But from what I rea in forum, yes U must create wall or door at that external land. Customer will brought at your restaurant by the new door or by your old door if U dont buy new door/ Hope it help
u noe u can just click on the toilet and it will clean u dont need to put it in ur inventory or get a waiter to become a janitor and the go back to a waiter
